Enjoy Coasteering in UK!
Coasteering is basically mountaineering along a coastline, treating the natural environment and obstacles as a giant playground! It involves sea swimming, rock climbing, caving and rock jumping. This is your session and if there is anything you do not want to do then you will be given the choice at that time.
You need to be aged 12 years upwards, confident in the water and can swim with a fair level of fitness.
Due to our operating ratio’s we need a minimum of 4 people to run a session, you can be an individual booking on to a session, we just need a total of 4 to run it.
Our summer programme starts from May half term onwards, however please get in touch if you have a group enquiry for before then!
What we Offer
Upon arrival you will meet our friendly team who will kit you out with a warm winter wetsuit, a helmet and a buoyancy aid.
Your two-hour session will be guided by an instructor who will help you to explore the stunning Freshwater Bay. A session will involve sea swimming along the cliff line around the headlands, scrambling across the rocks, discovering the caves and using the cliffs for jumps.
What you need to bring
To preserve the life of our wetsuits, we ask all our customers to bring an old pair of shorts to wear over your wetsuit.
An old pair of trainers or beach shoes that have a good grip for climbing over rocks.
